Mirroring of "Billedhuggerhaven"

In a corner of the forest that has the character of a plantation, the Sculptor School at Charlottenborg started a few years ago, a reflection of the Sculptor Garden Charlottenborg. An association of current and former students has taken over the register and started a monumental experiment: Newly laid paths point to the growing garden. A 5 m2 hype detailed super-thin fiber concrete cast of part of the Charlottenborg building - the former botanical garden on Kongens Nytorv - is refined raised in its own mirroring point. This appears as a 3d scanned model without a back supported by a steel rod that deals with the force of gravity.

Adam Fenton, Siska Katrine Jørgensen, Franco Turchi, and Veronica Rigét are the sculptors behind this statement.

As they say; "The curatorial theme for the 2018 exhibition at 'Billedhuggerhaven Skovsnogen' focuses on the idea of mirroring. Work that has taken place in the garden this year was done primarily to make the garden in Skovsnogen more visually and conceptually linked to the sculpture garden in Copenhagen. Notions of placement and geographical location are emphasized in order to support the foundational concept of the sculpture garden in Skovsnogen: to reproduce the environment of the sculpture garden in Copenhagen, as an area for artistic production and a space to exhibit”
